Oh, the weather outside is...delightful?

Where I live, it is sunny and gorgeous today. Blue skies, birds chirping, and the summer heat is coming in. 

So you would think that I would be searching for the cutest new bathing suit, shorts, and tank tops. 

But instead, I've decided to plan ahead. 

Next fall I will be living in Ohio, and since it gets FREEZING there...with rain, snow, and negative temperatures, I want to be prepared. 

So I've been wishful dreaming about these beautiful coats, boots, and scarves.

A girl can dream, right?

Pretty much all I need now is like...a million dollars to afford these extravagancies, or I have to find cheaper versions, which I think I will be able to do. So this summer, instead of saving up for the cutest summer outfit I'm going to go halvsies and spend half of my clothing money on dresses and tank tops and half on coats and boots. I'm also planning on going on down to the garment district and making myself some pretty scarves and purses, which I am quite excited about. 

It's a growin'...

So I said that I would update the stages of my garden... So here it goes:

Green! I see GREEN! It's only a matter of time before we get real life flowers, which I am pretty excited about.

Today I let this guy in my class borrow a piece of paper from me, so he drew this for me and gave it back. 

I thought it was pretty cool of him. haha. 

Coachella, Coachella, Coachella...

This weekend some of my friends and I went to this little music festival...its called COACHELLA!

Okay, so it's not very little... and it was pretty much one of the most amazing times of my life. All of the bands were absolutely fantastic.

Bands, for your head!

Last Halloween my sister inspired me to make a headband for her flapper costume. 

So lately in my spare time I've been taking some random fabrics that I have laying around and putting them together with buttons and such to make some other headbands. 

These are some of the ones that I've made so far...

              

 

I'm maybeee thinking of taking the good ones, and making more and selling them online? 

I was thinking of selling them as B. Marie, but I just found out that there is already a business for handbags called that...so I have to think of a new name. Any ideas??

I'm still debating, but I think in the future it could maybe work.
